Amazon Kindle Unbound: Download 'Branding Unbound,' Yes, Wirelessly

Unbound_kindle_edition Ahh, it's finally coming true: Now you can download a copy of BRANDING UNBOUND: The Future of Advertising, Sales, And the Brand Experience In the Wireless Age - yes, WIRELESSLY - via your Amazon Kindle device.

It's one of the top selling Advertising books on Kindle. Then again, given the topic, and the Kindle's cabal of early adopters, it makes sense.

Indeed, the wireless age is finally here.

'UNBOUND' Selected For National 'Chapter-A-Day' Business Book Series

BRANDING UNBOUND will join Fallon Worldwide Chairman Pat Fallon's Juicing The Orange as a business book selection for the Chapter-A-Day series at Dear Reader, The Oakland Public Library and other online book club venues. If I'm reading this correctly, the week between Christmas and New Year's, people who sign up for one of the clubs will receive a chapter from UNBOUND sent via email each day. Fallon's book follows the week after. An interesting way to get the latest on transmedia advertising strategies for free.

Snow Business: New Paradigm Event In Chicago A Blast Despite Record Storm

Paradigm Neither rain, nor wind, nor sleet, nor snow stopped a group on intrepid Chicagoans from attending the New Paradigm Event on Friday - and I'm thankful to them for it.

The event, sponsored by Big Frontier and Mobium, was an opportunity for me to present a special B2B edition of my talk "BRANDING UNBOUND: The 5 Strategic Advantages of Mobile Marketing," based on my book BRANDING UNBOUND.

I had a lot of fun, and extend many thanks for Steve Lundin, Gordon Hochhalter, Doug Strubel, and the members of their team. Not to mention my gratitude to the folks who braved what was apparently one of the worst snowstorms Chicago has endured in a few years to come hear me speak.

I had a lot of fun - and hope they did, too.

Ama_1Just wanted to say "thanks" to all the folks at the American Management Association for the invite to speak at "Corporate Branding 2006" yesterday at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco. It was a real blast, with a great audience, great venue, and a lot of great presentations. A very well-executed event. My thanks to all involved.

UNBOUND at 'Corporate Branding 2006'

AmaI'll be speaking at The American Management Association's "Corporate Branding 2006" conference this next Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco.

My presentation is based on BRANDING UNBOUND, and will explore how companies like Coca-Cola, Procter & Gamble, MTV, Nike and other major brands are capitalizing on the most measurable, personal and direct link to consumers ever created: mobile.

If you're in the area, it's a great two-day event featuring thought leaders from the likes of Harvard, IBM, FedEx, Prophet, Siegel+Gale, Virgin America and more.

UNBOUND in South Korea

Bu_korean_coverBu_korean_cover_2

As I mentioned a few months back, I may lack rhythm, but I now have Seoul. The image here is of the South Korean translation of BRANDING UNBOUND. South Korea is arguably the most mobile-advanced nation on Earth, and it’s fun to see that nation’s marketing and media industries embrace UNBOUND with its own translation.

UNBOUND in Chicago

BigfrontierI’ve been invited to speak at BIGfrontier in Chicago on December 1. BIGfrontier is the Midwest's premier producer of business and technology events and newsletters, providing a forum for nationally known authors and thought leaders. BIGfrontier is billed as “an unparalleled networking opportunity to meet with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, scientists, service providers and the press.” Should be a lot of fun. I’ll keep you posted as the date draws near, but for more information on the organization, click here.

UNBOUND In 'American Executive': The Five Strategic Advantages of M-Branding

American_coverHere's a short piece I wrote recently for American Executive Magazine, on The Five Strategic Advantages of M-Branding. I go into much more detail on these concepts in chapter one of BRANDING UNBOUND the book. But this will give you a good taste of what I talk about there.
