Study: Mobile Advertising Boosts Brand Response

A new study finds that three in five mobile Internet users are more inclined to purchase a brand in response to advertising on their mobile phones, according to Brand Republic.

The study, from Aerodeon and Millward Brown, finds that of 1,000 18-64-year-old PC Internet users in the UK, more than half use the mobile Internet - including 77% of the 18-24-year-olds. In act, one third surf the mobile web at least once a week. And nearly half use mobile to research big ticket items such as cars and vacations.
