Anheuser-Busch's Top Secret Mobile Super Bowl Ad
This Bud's for you - but only on your mobile phone.
During this year's Super Bowl, Anheuser-Busch plans to delight viewers as always with humorous, and in one case, heartwarming, television spots - a full four minutes worth, according to today's New York Times.
But that's just for starters.
Turns out, A-B has a secret spot, not appearing on the Super Bowl, that owners of mobile phones will be able to watch when the game ends, as part of a new promotion.
To Robert C. Lachky, evp of A-B's global industry and creative development, the reason for the mobile integration is simple.
As he puts it to the Times: "You know how hard it is to impress the 21-to-27-year-old consumer today?"
It looks like the company's taking a step in the right direction.
