AdMob Releases World Wide Mobile Advertising Metrics

Advertisers have your number - and they're using it.

Hard to tell if this is something to trumpet, but according to newly released stats from AdMob, about 1.5 billion ad impressions were served across AdMob in September, the latest month for which stats are available.

Indian mobile users were served the second largest total impressions on the network, after the USA. India, of course, is undergoing a booming mobile revolution. Overwhelmingly, the ads were served to smartphone users, and Nokia, Samsung and Motorola models were the most popular.

This is all fascinating, but what I'd really love to see is response, and even better, conversion rates.

Still - a glimpse of what is becoming a very big deal. I didn't say "good." I said "big."
